This site is great for the holidays with a range of activities to build all your English skills. They don’t take too long and will really give your vocabulary understanding a boost.
The Times in plain English has some interesting articles to read. It’s US based but there’s enough general reading as well. Great for building your vocabulary as well as knowledge of current events.
I have noticed students still have some problems with the use of tense – so I’m going to give the visual method another go.
Sometimes it’s the little things that help our learning. Grammar bites on the British Council site has short clips and exercises to help with grammar and vocabulary. Use it as a short break from Homework or Facebook games!
Sometimes when we look up a word in the dictionary, the definition can just make things even more confusing. This dictionary has plain English definitions – so much easier to use!
